Women in Hospitality Leadership – Empower Her Vancouver – May 28th, Shangri-La Vancouver Hotel
JRoss is honoured to sponsor Empower Her, an event taking place on May 28th, 2018 at the Shangri-La Vancouver Hotel. We will gather with women and men from hospitality, food services and tourism for an evening of networking and a high profile panel discussion. All proceeds benefit the scholarship fund for Les Dames d'Escoffier.
Hospitality and Tourism lags behind other industries in promoting and retaining women in leadership roles. It's time to start a dialogue about the barriers women face in hospitality, and how to work together to move the dial.
Special recognition goes to Joanna Jagger who is doing an amazing job promoting Empower Her across tourism, hotels, restaurants and food service networks. This is the beginning of a larger network which will be established through the BC Women in Hospitality Association.
