CHIC (Canadian Hotel Investment Conference) April 18/19 – Today’s trends & opportunities!

2023 Hotel investment trends, challenges and opportunities - CHIC has it all!

STR reported that in 2022 Canadian hotels achieved their highest ADR and RevPAR on record. From July of 2022 to January of 2023, they also reported double digit ADR increases over 2019 each month, combined with double digit increases in RevPAR for 6 of those 7 months. While Occupancy hasn’t performed as well, it has still shown growth over 2019 in 4 of those 7 months.

Those figures show a strong and ongoing recovery from the pandemic, along with lots of potential. Continuing to build on that potential will require tremendous focus, especially while managing larger scale challenges including inflation and our national labour shortage. In 2023, Hotel industry professionals need to be plugged in like never before.

On April 18 & 19, the Canadian Hotel Investment Conference will give you the opportunity to do just that. Visit the CHIC web site here. From the Canadian economy overall to demand profiles and development opportunities, presentations by industry leaders at CHIC will cover it all. See the CHIC program here.

While at CHIC you will be able to network with hundreds of Hotel industry professionals and learn more about :

  • Canada’s economy and where the Hotel industry fits
  • Demand drivers, especially for the elusive business traveller
  • Examples of “lessons learned” – both positive and negative
  • Brand evolution
  • Current key industry issues
  • And more...

We’re proud to be attending CHIC 2023, learning and sharing alongside you and other Hotel industry professionals. It’s one of the ways we ensure we remain on the leading edge of recruiting for the Canadian Hotel industry from our offices across the country.
