Description

  • Lead & Inspire: Develop a high-performing management team, enhance leadership skills, and foster customer engagement while inspiring a culture of innovation and purpose.
  • Drive the Brand Experience: Elevate the customer journey by setting high standards for customer service, ensuring teams embody the retailer’s unique vision and values in Toronto’s diverse market.
  • Recruit & Empower Talent: Oversee the full recruitment cycle, engaging diverse and skilled talent. Implement training programs that enable employees to excel and manage evaluations to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Maximize Employee Support: Act as the primary support for employees, providing access to tools, resources, health benefits, wellness programs, and savings plans. Address and resolve employee issues with empathy and professionalism.
  • Promote Inclusion & Safety: Champion diversity, foster a welcoming and inclusive environment, and ensure compliance with workplace policies and regulations.

Requirements

  • HR Leadership Experience in Retail: 7-10 years of HR experience, including managing people and processes in high-traffic retail environments. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required; bilingualism is an asset.
  • Agile Leadership: Exceptional planning and adaptability skills, with a proven ability to lead large cross-functional teams. Combine strong business orientation with empathy and a focus on human connection.
  • People-Centered Approach: Skilled at fostering positive workplace cultures, recognizing employee contributions, and celebrating success through meaningful recognition initiatives.
  • Customer-Centric Vision: Passionate about creating exceptional customer experiences and inspiring teams to deliver excellence.
