Description
- Financial Management: Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting.
- Compliance & Auditing: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, internal controls, and audits.
- Team Leadership: Manage the accounting team, providing mentorship and support to foster growth and efficiency.
- Strategic Planning: Partner with the senior management team to provide insights and recommendations for financial strategy and decision-making.
- Revenue Optimization: Analyze revenue streams and cost structures to identify areas for improvement and profitability enhancement.
- System Oversight: Maintain and improve accounting software systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting.
Requirements
- Education: CPA designation preferred, with a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial leadership role, ideally in the hospitality industry.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage), and Excel.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with hotel industry metrics, including STR reporting and revenue management systems, is an asset.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and leadership abilities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
